About a week ago my Dad surprised me with these French macarons and I was so excited to have them because first of all, I had never tasted a good one, (I tried to make them but they didn't turn out the way I wanted them to. xD) and second of all, I could take pictures of them for my blog. (Because who wouldn't want to take pictures of them? O.o They're so pretty.) And they were absolutely delicious! So, thanks Dad for getting them. ;) (He knows me so well.) But seriously, aren't they so cute? My favorite one out of all of them was the chocolate one. There was a strawberry one, a caramel pecan one, and a fruity pebble one as well. As you can see above, I snapped a few pictures of them using just a white foam board, my camera, and my window. I'm so in love with these photos! I didn't realize that I they would turn out this well! I really surprised myself.

Also, fun fact, I've actually been trying to learn French lately! I've always had this goal to become fluent in another language, and I'm finally acting on that goal! I know the basics, but I do need to brush up on everything because I haven't practiced in quite a while. Life has been so hectic lately, it's hard to find time for everything. :P
