OKAY BUT can we just talk about how adorable this cat is? These photos are currently my favorite ones that I've ever taken. The kids I babysit recently added a new addition to their family and I thought she was way too adorable to not take photos of! Her name is Nova. I have to admit that I did have a hard time watching over the kids instead of the cat. xD I utterly adore kittens for their curiosity and playfulness. <3

In addition to my newfound love for photographing cats, I recently found that I love flat lay photography! A couple posts back you may have seen some of my other flat lay photography with my Polaroid camera. I just love the clean look of everything and how every item has it's place in the photo. It's surprisingly harder than it looks to make everything look right and look like it's supposed to be there! I'm hoping to continue to improve on my photography especially in this style. The Macaron layout is just a sneak peek for more Macaron flat lays! I got super excited that I had something to play around with (as well as snack on) for my flat lays. So you should be seeing a post full of Macaron photography soon. :) (By the way the Macarons were delicious. Highly recommend if you haven't tried Macarons yet)

Hello everyone! I hope you are having a fantastic day because I am. ^-^
So I actually just got a Polaroid camera! I'm super happy about it because I've been wanting one for the longest time and I finally saved up enough money to purchase one! I'm actually at the moment stuck without any film, so I've been taking pictures of it instead of taking pictures with it. xD So because can't really use it, I've been experimenting with "Flat lays" as they call them, and I was wondering what ya'll think of these "flat lays" that I've made! If you're wondering what a flat lay is it's a really popular way to display objects, and is most popular for blogging and instagram. So I am hoping to do them more frequently and I was just wanting your opinion on which photo is your favorite out of the three. If you guys would like a bts for how I take these photos just let me know. ;)
Also, I apologize for the image quality. I actually took these photos on my iPod so that's why they aren't the best quality. >.< I just didn't have enough time to take ones with my real camera because I'm actually getting ready to go to a summer camp for the week! I leave today actually so it should be pretty fun. ^-^ I should be back by Saturday so unfortunately you won't be seeing a post from me on Friday. I know I'm a day late but happy Independence Day! *fireworks* To those who live in the United States that is. xD I just thought that I'd show y'all some pictures I took in celebration of this wonderful holiday. Enjoy!







The photos of the fireworks turned out really well and I'm super happy with them! ^-^

1. Have photo-shoots
      I have so many ideas for photo-shoots to do this summer. I've already made a huge list of my ideas! I'm hoping I can get the majority of them done. Definitely one of my goals this summer is to try to improve my photography. 

2. Make Macarons
    I've already made Macarons before so the whole process of making them isn't new to me, but this summer I would really like to try to make them again because the last time I tried to make them, they unfortunately didn't turn out too well. xD Those little things are so picky.
3. Make ice cream
      I don't know what I would do without ice cream, really. It's just so amazing. Any suggestions on what ice cream I should try to make? 
4. Eat s'mores till I can't anymore
      S'mores are the best thing on the planet am I right? Every time I have a s'more I can never only eat one. I usually stuff my face with them, but not to the point where I can't eat them anymore. If I do try to eat them till I can't anymore, I'll be sure to tell ya'll how many it takes to get to that point. ^-^ Any bets on how many it'll take till they make me sick? 
5. Star gaze
      There's a lot of light pollution where I live so I can't see the stars at night very well, so I'm hoping that sometime this summer I can get away from it all, and really have the opportunity to see them fill the sky. Stars never fail to make me realize how beautiful the world is.

Those are some of the things that are on my bucket list for this summer!

1. Against The Current - "Forget Me Now"
      "Forget Me Now" is from Against The Current's new album "In Our Bones" and without fail it's gotten me up on my feet dancing like a complete weirdo. The beat and just flow of the song is so dance worthy I can never resist the urge to dance. xD It always lifts my mood no matter what.

2. Against The Current - "In Our Bones" 
      I actually just recently learned how to play this song on my ukulele and it sounds spectacular both versions.
I just have to say that in general Against The Current's new album "In Our Bones" is absolutely amazing if you love the Alternative Rock genre. I've been absolutely obsessed with it lately and have just playing it on repeat since it came out. If you haven't listened to their music you definitely should! Their content is starting to get more noticed and I'm so happy that it is because they definitely deserve it.

3. Taylor Swift - "New Romantics" 
       Taylor Swift songs are just fabulous. I've been dancing to her songs since I was eight. I love both her old country music, and her new pop music. I love "New Romantics" because of the complete sarcasm of the lyrics, and just the music itself has a great beat. It's yet another song that makes me dance. Her music will always have a special place in my heart.

4. Mayday Parade - "Your Song" 
      Mayday Parade's music has always been on my favorites list. I usually listen to their music while just laying on my bed while falling asleep or while I just want to relax. Their music always makes me daydream quite a bit...

5. Jack's Mannequin - "Dark Blue" 
      I only recently discovered Jack's Mannequin's music and I am so glad I found it! Their music will always be on my "go to sleep" playlist. xD and I really like the vibes that their songs give off.

Also, I'm wondering how ya'll like the new blog design? Yay? Nay? There are a couple little things that I still need to fix and update but there's not much more to do until it's all done! Not to mention my adorable header that I made with some of Angie Makes free clip art! She has a ton of free clip art on her blog as well as a great tutorial on how to make a great header for your blog! I adore her work so make sure to go check her out if you've been needing a blog header makeover.

Recently I visited downtown with Haylie (aka best friend) and it was quite nice actually! I don't go downtown very often so it was nice to visit the various antique shops and just look around. One of the antique shops we visited actually had an adorable Persian cat! Her name was Coco and she was quite cute I have to say. I also found some great places for photo shoots that I'll definitely be using soon!

Another thing is that I apologize for the messy website! It's been under construction the past day and I'm still trying to tweak things to get it all just right. I know it's very different, so I'm wondering what ya'll's thoughts on it are from what it looks like so far. I'll definitely be customizing it much more. (Header will be changed, about me photo fixed, right sidebar gadgets improved, etc.) I'm hoping that it'll all be done soon. Positive and negative feedback is welcome. ^-^ Anyway, I'll definitely be posting more often so be expecting more posts every Friday! I hope you enjoyed this post and thanks for reading!
